That was unusual, it worked for me. I guess the Play Store update somehow takes over even if you replace the system apk file? Good to know.

Haha yeah Kintnersville is right down the road! Currently on the FD19 modem which seems to do well. Its hard to find a modem that doesn't battery drain to no prevail simply because most of my area you can't get more than two bars of service. I wish there was a way to tell the phone to stop trying so hard; the data speeds suck around here anyway so what's the point?

For whats it's worth, I get way better battery in my area (30 miles north of Scranton) if I keep it locked in roam using Roam Control. We have better Verizon signal than Sprint around here. Plus Where I work they have indoor repeaters for Verizon. I don't really use it for downloading big files or streaming so I use PRL 11119 to get 3g in roam and then just keep an eye on bandwidth to make sure I stay away from 300 megs for the month.

Don't know Sniper. Not sure about pushing an app to a odexed rom. Do a backup and let us know.

Edit: I don't think so dude. You have to have both de-odexed and the odexed version of the app as well. I might be able to odex it for you. Will let you know.

I just odexed it. Now how exactly would I make a cwm flashable zip for it?

Here's the apk and odex file, but I'd also like to learn how to make my own flashable zips. I'm guessing I can't just drag and drop those into the zip you uploaded?

I had similar issue, first redownload the Blazer 4.1 using PC Do a full wipe using caulk's format all zip, then flash the rom, don't do a advanced nandroid data restore, see if this fixes the problem, if it does then you know its was either a bad download or the nandroid data restore that was giving you the problem..

Going to flash AOKP Milestone 5 right now......I BET by this time tomorrow, Ill be back on Blazer.
