Nightlies are often released nightly once everything goes full force.

Hello guys, I'm on Build 17.. used CM7 before, and seems CM7 more faster than CM9... is there any way to make it faster? Maybe I should make ex4 partition like HTC phones? Will it work fast as CM7? Will Glitch kernel make my phone work faster? thanks.

Just flashed new nightly on top of build 16. Had to reflash gapps + gapps fixer to get play store Gmail and calendar sync to work. After that everything seems smoother very nice! By the way is the boot animation missing?

I don't think you know what "nightly" means. "Nightly" means that whatever is in trunk at the time the build is kicked off ends up being built. If there have been no changes since the previous night, the build won't be promoted and so you won't see a new one.

Only a problem in the development thread. Questions go on the Q&A thread. The mods and devs here are just being nice and helping us noobs out. We, on turn are cluttering up a tool they use to get feedback about the wonderful ROMS they are building.

I know that its just sometimes you can't get good enough help over there and devs are a much better source of info and they don't have to be such douches about it they could just nicely ask to take it to the Q+A forum.

Question for the devs.. is it possible to tell me what file/xml value needs to be edited to change the font size of the battery number indicator when selecting "Percentage" in Battery Style? I'm hoping to make the font bigger and editing a blank png to replace the small battery icon so it will just be a numeric value there.
Device: White Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 (GSM)
ROM: AOKP experiments via AOKPush
Kernel: Fancy Kernel r20
Theme: Neon Glow
Radio: UGLL1
Recovery: CWM 6.0.3.1

The battery icon is actually a series of 200 or so images that need to be individually edited. There's an icon for every percentage, both for the charging and discharging icon states. It's kind of a time sink haha.
