Ahh so its more likely that its an sbk1 then? What would happen if its not though... Would it do any damage?

Well im not pro with nvflash but sbk stands for secure boot key. Its their way for protecting the boot. Different ones have different keys. Anytime you initialize the bootloader with nvflash you need the sbk, odm and the bootloader file/config. Its like the first handshake to a conversation. Once thats complete you can send commands ( set partitions and system img's ).

Hey Frank,

I am not able to boot into Ubuntu. As soon as the tablet boots past the first asus screen it goes into a linux script where everything fails and at the very bottom says reboot in 1 second. It stays on this random reboot screen unless in try to go into recovery and it boots up Prime.

Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Yea i have ran across this problem myself. I am currently trying to figure out whats going wrong and if it is linked to my installer. When my system does this i just keep letting it retry and retry. After about 5 times it will boot into linux. Although i find this very unacceptable and i try to provide the best setup possible, at the time being all i can suggest is let it loop a couple of times and it should boot. Tonight i am going to look over the config and once i find the issue i will release a update. Also make sure you have let the installer completely intall the system. The NVFlash stage 1 should take a good bit to get done ( about 15 minutes ). It has to upload the ubuntu.img witch is around 1.8gb if i remeber correctly. I will try to get a update done tonight that will fix this problem. I will also try to add a couple new features like Android only install and Dualboot with android as primary, and a more detailed status when it is installing so you can be sure nothing went wrong.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm going to reflash everything again and see how it goes. I'll let you know if I am successful this time.

Thanks again and great work.

After NVFlash says finished, the tablet says successful and reboots back into APX mode. Is this suppose to happen or does my tablet suck?

Edit: still a no go for me. I'll wait for your next update.

It shows the Asus logo and at the top left it shows the bootloader information? You need to restart your device. Also make sure you cable is unplugged. Do me a favor and check to see if nvflash.exe is still running on your computer. Even though the installer is done if the nvflash.exe doesnt close ive seen cases were it will try to get back into the bootloader. SO just make sure the usb cable is unplugged and nvflash.exe is closed. You can check by using the task manager. I guess thats another thing i can add to the next release.
