Default [Q] Galaxy Note Camera Problem

I've got Galaxy Note on 11 Nov 2011, I noticed that when switching on Camera, targeting any white wall, I notice Columns / Bars of shadows or Smoke are moving like curtain from left to right of the screen specially in a low light places, also a pink spot in the middle of the screen.
Is this normal? if not, What I have to do?

I have Galaxy Note GT-N7000 - 2.3.6 JPKK2
Kernel Ver: 2.6.35.7-N7000JPKK2-CL726640

Your feedback is highly appreciated

- I am having the same EXACT problem or issue. I noticed that the camere issues you spoke of, (i.e., columns of shadow flickering from left to right and pinkish hues smearing certain portions of the screen) are more obvious whenever the shot is taken indoor under flourescent light.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is this solvable by software update? Thanks.

I was just going to say that floresent lighting can give the effect of bars scrolling left to right or vise versa, I've noticed it a couple of times on my SGN.

Although I did notice some moving shadows on the first day I had the phone when taking picture of a white wall.

It doesn't bother me that much as the final picture does not show the bars.

I've had the problem with the bands under flourescent lighting since GS2. Actually surprised not more people have reported this. I think it has to do with electrical frequencies. You can see the same thing if you take a picture of your computer screen. On Note, sometimes I don;t have the banding on screen, but appears on the final picture!

I'm sure it can be easily fixed with a software fix - syncing the cam with whatever electrical frequency (50 or 60hz) automatically as with regular cameras. Just waiting for it!

Oh...and the pink spot....since day 1 on GS2 as well!

as ichsu said correctly, the bars are due to optical interference from artificial light sources. on htc devices there was a "flickering reduction" option in the settings which could be set to your grid frequency (50/60Hz). this helped a lot in such occasions! but samsung does not have such option, maybe they try to automatically detect this, and this automatic works not as intended. or they did ignore this problem, which would be strange...
