it works over Gingebread Kernel or Froyo Kernel ? .. i have this rom installed in my Milestone 3 and it works great... i want to try in my droid x

i could not install it with D2Bootstraper from Ginger .602 system .. instalation aborted in CWM

This is FROYO based 2.3.340. Ginger is GB based.

i got the rom workin , i sbf to what chevy has on the first page, and i root through petes 1 root i had to unplug the phone when it did its restart but it work , i couldnt use safe strap , i had to use droid 2 strap , but i ran into the camera not workin after you took a picture it froze on it anyone else ran into this problem beautiful rom btw just that problem

Anyone have this ROM available for download?

I recently inherited a Droid X after my Thunderbolt was stolen (or lost, I'm not sure which) and since I'm still under contract, I'll probably just stick with the DX for a couple more months. Many ROMs are hard to find since the phone is so old (by technology standards in general, phone standards in particular)...including this one. Anyone have the ROM up so I can download it? Or would you be willing to throw it up on Dropbox or something?

I do have it and will see what I can do. First though, check to see that you are still on a .605 or earlier system. If you are on the .621 update then you cannot go back to earlier ftf's.
BTW, there are quite a few gd roms for the DX.

HERE at xda is a link to chevy's updated thread. There are a lot of updates to many Roms.

Some other good roms are CM9, CM7, and MIUI.us, and AOKP's. GingerAle 3.0 is ok if ya like 2.3.3.
