Sigh... it's not a question of whether the phone can handle it, it's quite evident that it can. This was established a LONG time ago.

And no, before anyone asks, Sony publishing the rom isn't going to help development of this rom.

Great ROM.
Amazing ROM, Texasice. Much smoother than Medroid CM9.

Keep up the excellent work!

Hey there, although i'm on bravo i've found a weird reproducable bug, when playing GTA3 the UI disappears the moment i put a second finger on the screen.
Although the performance in GB (CM7.2) is worse, that doesn't happen there...

I'm on the latest build basing on your p13 afaik and using xdata

I've made two logcats of this happening one short version and one longer version (the longer version is including game-start and game-stop, the short version basically just the vanishing buttons...

not a terrible bug, but maybe it helps

For the sleep of death issue, which I had badly, do the following (others have mentioned this)
  1. Download Tiamats N1 ICS kernel (seems to run the same or better than the one that's packaged w/P13)
    http://tiamat-dev.com/mahimahi/
  2. Stick the zip on your sd card
  3. Reboot into recovery
  4. Flash the .zip (doesn't matter if you've been running the ROM or if its a fresh flash
  5. Reboot
  6. No more sleep of death
  7. Press the "Thanks button" below ( don't know why, others ask for it :P )

May want to wipe cache and dalvik cache first. Read that on OP pages and elsewhere. Not sure if it is necessary, I just do it--

Just wanted to chime in as another person for whom upgrading to the 031412 kernel solved my battery-pull crash problems, none in 3 days at least. Wish I knew why that fixed it...

EDIT: Also cleared cache and dalvik when upgrading kernel.

I've had far more trouble with the tiamat kernel than the one provided in the rom. I have no problems running the phone for 4 or 5 days without requiring a reboot. Alarms work and so do all apps except a couple that are not ICS compatible and some that require HWA tweaks. No call problems or anything else to report. So tiamat isn't an automatic fix to issues it actually was far less stable and caused random reboots on my phone. For some it does a great job so just be aware there are always 2 sides. Just like some people seem to have difficulty with the stock kernel.

Just in case, my late report, Nova Launcher seems to work fine with those settings, (with artifacts but fast redrawn of them), better than stock imho.
