Default Do you have a 'dropbox' folder in your ROOT directory?

This folder just looked fishy to me because it was on my device before I had even installed Dropbox on my Kindle Fire or even rooted it. I have never seen an app install a folder in the main root directory, they're usually in the sdcard folder or within another folder.

Only reason I'm suspicious is because I bought my KF 'open box' and am not sure if someone may have tinkered with it. Can anyone check if you also have this folder? Thanks.

DONATE TO ME
Yeah, some Android devices, completely unrelated to Dropbox the file sharing service, have a "dropbox" directory where the kernel "drops" crash debug reports.

The term "dropbox" has existed long before Dropbox the company existed... My company has been using that term for LAN file drops since before I started.
*so much sig updating needed*

My Github profile - Some Android stuff, some AVR stuff

An excellent post on "noobs vs. developers"

A few opinions on kernel development "good practices"

Note: I have chosen not to use XDA's "friends" feature - I will reject all incoming "friend" requests.
