I have been using nightly for a while now and after i flashed to the 6/28 nightly my lockscreen has changed. Instead of the default one with camera and unlock, after a little while it has changed to a new one with a slide the screen down to unlock kind of screen. I have tried to wipe my phone as well as update to 6/30 nightly but it is still occurring. Any suggestions??

If you're only getting that amount of time and on Edge. My guess would be that your radio is at full power looking for signal. Take as look at Oxy's modem site for ones recommended for your area

I have been following the CyanogenMod 9 for nightlies for a while and always keep it up to date ( using 4th of July build right now ). One persistent problem I face is the the web browser, be it stock or 3rd party, always crashing when trying to view flash videos in full screen mode.

Is there some way to fix this problem or am I the only one facing it?

I'm running the latest nightly with stock kernel. In general, the rom is quick with few force close or 'app not responding' messages (issues on some previous nightlies). However, I have noticed that I tend to get crazy lag and app crashes when using my phone outside, in direct sunlight. Issue happened this morning when using the camera app. Does this have something to to with the touchscreen, sensors, or is this just a coincidence? Any help would be great.

After the first flash you install the kernel. Reboot you're phone, re-install battery and flash again from CWM. Don't forget to wipe.

Just installed CM9 nightly July/12 build on my i896. So far so good except for WiFi. When I enable it nothing happens.

Has anyone else had a wifi issue?

It turns out there was no problem I just didn't know how to work with the new software (ICS). I was use to Gingerbread where after enabling wifi a list of available networks would pop up automatically. For anyone else who has trouble with this here is what you do.

1. Turn on your wifi from anywhere (drwar, in settings, etc)
2. Go into settings>wifi. (tap "wifi" not the on/off button next to it. This was my folly)
3. If your wifi is on this will display a list of available networks.

Hope this helps someone.
