Page-turn animation

Doesn't work when reading books? Why? It works on the Nook app on my android phone, but not on my Nook Tablet? What?

I noticed it worked when I tried reading a sample magazine and i find it pretty nifty. Why do I/we only get the lame side-scoll page turn animation when reading eBooks??

(Yes, animations are turned on in the "Reader" settings page)

Going through the samples that come with the device, I get the page turn animation from magazines, and but not books.

Unfortunately I think we are all experiencing this...I have no idea why they wouldn't have included the page turn animation rather than the slide animation.

Definitely was quite disappointed when I discovered this...

And unfortunately I can't get the nook app to work on the nook tablet...

Utterly ridiculous. Are you telling me that the free market app works better than the dedicated firmware on the tablet??

The file format that supported by Adroid phones is not the same with Nook tablets, so it doesn't works.
You can search "page turning on Nook Tablet" to get a solution.

Run the team b cm7 sd card version. Go to market install nook app bam all my nook books with page turn animation. Works great. Shows who were dealing with when something included in a free app is left out of the $250 dedicated reader/tablet. Same company that sent me a 2' x 2' box for a replacement USB cable. I thought they screwed up & sent me a box full of tablets when I saw the size of the box that arrived. Opened it up tiny cable rattling around it the bottom corner. I was like they had to of had a smaller box, it's just a great company

FWIW, I'm running the Nook market app with cm7 internal...page turn animation works.

Just double-checked it myself..running internal CM7 Beta and get the age animation for books as well.

The Nook fo Android shows page turns for me, and they are better than the stock Nook reader.
