Try B526, but it has a locked bootloader (no issue, can be unlocked) or B518 that doesn't have a locked bootloader.

But I used a method which some users said that they were successful with the root process...

The question is the person with the b528 rom has WinXp, and apparently after the .bat tries to enter in the bootloader, the drivers on pc are not found, even I have all of them installed.

Sorry bro, all the information I have is that B528 has no root exploit yet. I can't help you much, maybe you need to reinstall the drivers. But, is there any reason for you to not use B526? It's easy, can be rooted, and no problems....

So he probably didn't enable the log first, is my guess. This works fine on b528 you say?

2º install this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...1&d=1321435888

Then download doomlord' s rooting tool and extract it to drive C:\DoomLordRoot.v3.

Preparation steps on device:

1) Dial: *#*#2846579#*#*
2) Go to projectmenu > background settings > log settings > log switch > set Log on
3) Reboot Phone
4) Switch USB Debugging ON
5) uncheck fast boot from settings -> applications

Switch USB Debugging ON
Plug your U8800 into your computer

in C:\DoomLordRoot.v3 push "runme" and wait to finish
