Default What should I buy?

I have a verizon contract and my droid x (under warranty) has been having problems. I got the service center to work me up to a droid 3 which seems like a great phone. I love the look but after trying it in the store I decided that I wouldn't really use the keyboard all that much. I would keep it if not for the locked bootloader. I'm planning on selling it to purchase a "new" verizon phone and I should get 200-300 dollars from that. Depending on the phone I may be willing to spend up to 300$ more.

Should I spend that money on a TB? 4g/3g stable? battery life? single core?
Should I purchase some other phone? rezound?
-or-
Should I wait to sell and buy from the next round- google nexus/other?

honestly, I don't need a dual core or 4G. I'd like to not spend too much, and there is an upgrade next december... but for now I'm kind of on the fence.

sounds like you rather have money over a nice phone. well if you wanted the best phones out there right now your choice are rezound, razor (i think rezound is better) and the nexus which should be out very soon.
all will cost you $300 and to me its well worth it.

but heck if money is more important to you, im sure you can get a thunderbolt for dirt cheap now days. Its a GREAT phone and if you root it and put on a custom rom its turns into a hell of a phone.

are the new phones with dual core faster? of course but heck the 4g alone on the thunderbolt makes web surfing a breeze and even though its a single core its still fast phone compared to all other phones in the same generation.

the choice is really yours. but if you rather have your cash then i recommend NOT to visit a Verizon store and to avoid looking at the Rezound screen or you may just end up buying it on the spot, I did.

lol... too late. I'm looking for used ones and if something crops up at the right price I will jump on it.

I actually replaced my DX with a Thunderbolt and really like it. I would just buy a stock Rezound battery for it which works great. The Thunderbolt battery sucks. I can go from morning to well into the evening on the TBolt with the Rezound battery which I would say was comparable to my DXs extended battery life. 4g works wonderfully as well.

Ended up with the rezound. It's a great phone but I got a unit with a couple of issues like the sound bug. I bought it from a second party new and never activated but the way it was setup in the store I don't think I have warranty coverage. Cest lavie. Still have insurance, well see if it bugs me enough to replace.
