SetCPU is available for free on these forums somewhere. I use OC Daemon Controller on my tablet. Never used it on my phone though. I've always used setcpu.

Or you can try CPU tuner, its free and have more options to set scheduling on certain battery level, on/off screen, profiles etc.
It feels like a paid app but free

OK just installed it, and I'm stuck at the LG screen. Of course...stupid me forgot to do a NAND backup first... Do we have a copy of the original kernel?

Haven't downloaded yet but if I'm reading everything correctly the default is 1.5 meaning it's not required to have a program like setcpu for it to be overclocked?
