[Q] does your Note show "AT&T" and "3G" on home-screen?

Got my Note today in the mail and super excited. Called AT&T to provide my IMEI (lost my previous phone) and SIM card number. Also have set APN.

I noticed on my home screen it doesn't say "AT&T" and "3G" like an iphone - is that normal?

I don't think you needed to contact ATT. I didn't and I just setup the APN and am getting HSPA+. Honestly contacting ATT can cause more problems IMHO. Best to keep them out of it... lol. Here's the APN I used to get HSPA+. Mind you I'm on the grandfathered unlimited data.

Yeah, thanks for all the info. (I had to call AT&T they had the IMEI number of my previous phone so I had to call and I lost my sim card so I got a new one.)
