[Q] Root my galaxy s

Hi everyone im new at this phone hacking qnd i need help i want to root my galaxy s 1 G2.3.3 and i tried the update.zip but it says signtur faild and then i try z4root and it didnt work

how can i rooy my phone but i only want to root it not switch roms thx for any help

Easiest way is to odin speedmod for gingerbread kernel, boot to recovery, go to advanced speedmod settings and apply root.

Be sure to check samsung galaxy s subforum for more infos if needed.
