Default thinking of buying a facinate..... got questions for you verizion users

up untill recently my work phone was a t-mobile vibrant running on Cincinnati bell....(they are a compatable carrier). I loved this phone, and am very familliar with it, Unfortunatly work(who paied for this phone line) switched carriers to verizion and gave us all the casio commando... wow, this phone stinks.... so im thinking of selling my vibrant which is not in use anymore and buying a facinate....
i'm assuming the Facinate is pretty much the same phone with hopefull better support...(actually has android 2.3 and working gps) Im wondering what the state of MIUI is on the Facinate? How good does it work, what are the known bugs, are all the sensors working(vibrant worked except for compass)...

second, how would i switch phones? on cincinnati bell(or any gsm carrier) i could easily switch sims without getting the carrier involved as i have no account information( remember its my work line) so being able to switch out my phone will be dependant on weather i could do it with out any of the account info..... i really hope this wont keep me from swithching out this POS commando cause it really stinks...

He is stating that we have an almost working android 4.0 port. OP You asked about MIUI, we are up to date and have fully working MIUI. As far as swapping phones back and forth you dont need acount info but you have to shut one phone off and then dial *228 on the one you are switching to, then option one and activate it with your 10 digit phone number. Repeat the process to reactivate the other phone when you need to switch back.

Hope that sorts it out for you. If you have any other questions you can PM me, or just ask here and someone greater than I can probably give you a better answer.

If its a company line, *228 will not likely work. I had an ESN problem on my fassy(data dropping issue) about 3 months ago and tried swapping it back to my old BB storm and the *228 option said I had to contact the account holder to activate a new phone.... it sucked but I talked to the HR lady at work and we called verizon and did it over the phone in 5 min.

This.

after replying earlier I spoke with my HR rep and she said the same. Didn't get a chance to post it up.
