Default [Q] When to expect CM9 And/or Themes?

Title pretty much says it.
When can we expect Cyanogen Mod 9 and at least a few themes to be popping up for the N3xus? I read a few days ..(weeks..?) ago that CM9 was in alpha on some device.

Any ideas?

I am looking forward to CM9. I had just installed CM7.1 on my Vibrant a few months ago and i really like the tweaks. Seems that ICS incorporates some of the tweaks like incognito browsing and screenshots but i really miss the notification bar shortcuts and other features. Its raw speed is also excellent with no lag, even on that SGS phone which was notorious for lag in Samsung roms.

earliest you'll see anything from CM9 will be january. but it'll be either nightlies or RCs. not final roms.

As far as themes, that shouldn't take as long but will still take some time.

If I were a betting man, I'd put alpha builds for CM9 before Jan 1. Depending on the device, of course.

Sprint HTC Evo 4G
Motorola Xoom WiFi
T-Mobile HTC G2

definitely possible. i'm only going on cyanogens post of cya in january.

i wouldn't be surprised if the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S had nightlies or alphas before the end of the month.

personally, i'll never install another CM nightly or RC ever again. i've done it multiple times on my Nexus One and everytime i had nothing but a terrible buggy experience even though 100 other people say they have no issues.

for me it'll be modaco until CM9 final. however long the wait will be, it'll be worth it.

There's been 11 alpha builds for the Nexus S already. Most accounts are that its super usable.

I flash nightlies for my G2 for about 2-3 months. Fun experience and I like having the new stuff. Very rarely I see huge bugs.

Great app. I had been using quicker from the same dev of quick settings and CM7 made it redundant.

damn 11 already? guess the NS and GN may get it faster than i thought.

and i don't doubt that you have no issues with the nightlies. i see the same thing everywhere, then i try it and my phone becomes unusable. i think my N1 just hates me lol.
