Yeah, don't go out of your way to get it. I'm on the Virtuous Affinity ROM, and it has Beats. Just an equalizer tweak and maybe some noise reduction and speaker emulation. Mostly just marketing baloney.

If on a Honeycomb ROM, try Volume+, can be configured (unlike Beats), and installs simply as an APK. Paid app on the Market, or get it free from the developer's website:

what's your DSP settings like? do you adjust it while you listen to something and stop where it feels good/right?

Yeah beats audio it's not the last coke in the desert. The preset using beats audio sounds mehh. Keep messing with dsp instead, sounds by far better imho!

Tmo g2 flavored with cm7 7.1 stable and Tiamat kernel combo for my butterly experience

Beats audio enhancement is just a preset renamed as beats. Hi marketing lol! Its just like srs and dolby. Raised the bass slightly higher and renamed. And lastly it need the htc music's framework I think so you need sense UI. Not sure though
Dsp is far better or use equalizer app or poweramp

I do not believe the type of stupidity Beats Audio. They are like any other handset. Everything is just a marketing tool. But certainly not such as headphones from food shop for € 2.
