Links are not working via paid market app.... I need my 4ext recovery to fix my sdcard Keeps unmounting enexpectedly....

I did some testing based on some ppl saying that this amazing recovery is not working properly(for which I got offended as I am in love with this recovery ) . Thought I would share this with you

First off all my device is soff and
I had ics (ARHD) running.
.I flashed gb stock boot.img on top of my ics and I'm having bootloops which is obvious.. So then I went to recovery,
tried enabling and disabling smart flash on 4EXT and after disabling smart flash...i flashed faux 0006 main kernel (it is recovery flashable zip not boot.img) from recovery(remember im having bootloop due to previous test)...and surprisingly i'm still having bootloops even after flashing the ICS kernel ...there is a similar problem with another person and he claimed that disabling smart flash from 4EXT is not working properly and it still stays with smartflash on mode...which explains the reason as to why im having bootloops even after flashing faux 006b6 from recovery...finally i did a manual flash of boot.img (faux 005 mainline) via fastboot...which got me out of bootloop

now i flashed 006b6 again via recovery and the changes are imminent (006 has sweep2wake and its working)

after all this tests the final conclusion i came up with regarding recovery is (this is for SOFF devices) 1.once smartflash is enabled while installing/updating recovery..disabling the smartflash from recovery..might not be working properly and mainly causing issues when moving from GB to ICS 2.flashing/updating ICS kernels on top of ICS ROMS are perfectly working fine

Hi,

Please contact me directly if you have any issues.
There must be a problem on the route between your isp and my server.
Please change your internet connection and try again.
If you had used wifi before, switch to Mobile network, if you used Mobile network switch to wifi.
This should solve the problem

You cannot use SmartFlash to switch between completely different firmware like between GB and ICS kernels.

Once you run ICS you can use smartflash to switch between any different ics kernels, once you are on GB you can switch between various gb kernels.

Edit: added this to 1st post.

However the SmartFlash feature is ONLY for s-on devices.
If you are s-off you shouldn't switch it on so you don't need to worry about switching between ICS and GB.

Switching it on or off while in recovery mode is only temporary and should be done as soon as recovery is booted.
This lasts for the current recovery session only: so when you want to permanently enable or disable it use 4ext app.

fastboot flash commands wont work with relocked/locked bootloader

you need to have unlocked bootloader for this "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" to work

I have simple sensation and HBoot 1.23 S-ON. I have also simple recovery (moved and select by volume up/down and power button). HOw to install your 4EXT recovery? I need it becouse i want to try instal some custom rom. Pls tell me step by step solution how to install when is HBoot 1.23 and S ON?
