Default [Q] Creating backup of Galaxy Note

Hello,
Is there a way to create backup of current image of Galaxy Note Device and thus the applications, like the process mentioned for Galaxy S at -
How to make an Odin flashable ROM
or
[SCRIPT] ROM Packager [UPDATE 7/2]
  1. Would any of the above process work for Galaxy Note.
  2. Is there a way to take backups of applications without rooting the device. Nandroid and Titanium backup are there, but I believe they work only for rooted devices.

Thanks.
