Post Quantum OEM CAB update collection

Here's a collection of the OEM CAB updates for the Quantum captured via wireshark.

CAB updates can be pushed to your phone via cabsender:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1248799

Instructions on how to capture OEM updates:
Startup WireShark and monitor you internet connection in promiscuous mode. Enter filter: "http.request" (without the double quotes). Start to update your phone. You'll see all the webrequests it makes. You'll also see which cab-files will be downloaded for your language packs.

If you capture a new update, please feel free to post the link here and I will update accordingly.

Also, here is a way to capture OEM updates for other providers without having to flash a different ROM - change these registry keys (STRING not DWORD):

AT&T
Code:
[HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\]
MobileOperator = ATT-US
MOName = AT&T Wireless
OEMDeviceName = PACIFIC_ATT_US
BELL
Code:
[HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\]
MobileOperator = BEL-CA
MOName = BELL
OEMDeviceName = PACIFIC_BEL_CA
BELL WIRELESS ALLIANCE (Sasktel)
Code:
[HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\]
MobileOperator = SAT-CA
MOName = SASKTEL
OEMDeviceName = PACIFIC_SAS_CA
TELSTRA AUSTRALIA
Code:
[HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\]
MobileOperator = STR-AU
MOName = Telstra
OEMDeviceName = PACIFIC_TEL_AU
TELECOM NEW ZEALAND
Code:
[HKLM\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\]
MobileOperator = TEL-NZ
MOName = Telecom New Zealand
OEMDeviceName = PACIFIC_TNZ_NZ
Other keys that can be adjusted and have an impact:
Code:
FirmwareRevision
RadioSoftwareRevision
MODeviceName
OemName
Thank you to heatcliff for the info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1306415

In case you haven't developer unlocked your phone then follow these steps:

Enable the MFG application:
Code:
Go to dialer and enter ##634# then pressing call.
Launch the MFG application, then enter 277634#*# as password.
Developer unlock (DWORD):
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Security\LVMod
DeveloperUnlockState = 1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg
PortalUrlProd = 0
PortalUrlInt = 0
According to this post, these are the only values you need to change to trigger an update from a different carrier/model:

MobileOperator = VOD-IT
MOName = Vodafone
OEMDeviceName = ATLANTIC_VDF_IT

Keep the backup securely for future use if needed.

hi, i am in INDIA with AT&T unlocked Quantum. I want Wifi Tethering.

Does any of the above .cab provide that ?

Also, is AT&T having the latest drivers , i see the version as 1.1.16 , while others are in 1.0.X

none have wifi tethering. Also the version numbers are misleading, ATT actually has the oldest drivers. You can open the CAB files inside winrar and then open the sub-cab files and view the dates they were modified.

Thanks bob. This is awesome. If I had a spare Quantum, I'd try to send other model cabs to my C900AT.

if you have an ATT rom installed, it should already offer you those drivers.

I have flashed all carriers ROMs to my c900b and updated them all full via official updates, so in that sense it should be ok. However, I have never successfully sent a drivers cab from another provider to my phone - i tried to send the ATT drivers to my bell rom but it failed to install. no harm was done.
