Default Chama-chama chama-cha-meleon!

This is the current project that I'm working on.
(Unfortunately due to a rogue piece of destructive lint, the Epic 4G Touch battery door has suffered a tragedy and is currently in emergency repairs)

In the meantime, I show you the Nexus S 4G battery door aka Chameleon S 6G Bieber Phone!

Made using wet-sanding, primer and color shifting paint. The Epic 4G Touch frame/door should be complete some time tomorrow.

The way the paint works, it's a different color depending on your viewing angle. It's the same kind of stuff they use on cars. I'm probably going to do another one in green-orange shift paint.

Looks good, I like smaller projects like this in that paint, and not whole cars

Reworked the project a tad bit. Added a rubber coating on the battery door prior to painting to add a two-tone grip effect. This also added enough thickness to the battery door that my camera housing is recessed so that I can leave it laying on its back without scratching it up.

Giving it about 5 days to dry out and harden, then will do a couple touch-ups on the speaker mesh and around the lens. Hoping to have this on my phone by next Monday.

I am familiar with the paint. I actually used the same for a guitar hero guitar for my sister wayback when she had a ps2.
