My Idea for the question is that it has almost identical hardware( also has hdmi , will it work ?)

not this one. you will get a brick for sure.

it should build fine after that

It's spanish. thanks for all everything is fine now after doing a little more fixes.

when trying to build i get this and then it stops.
make: *** No rule to make target `vendor/cm/proprietary/Term.apk', needed by `out/target/product/p1c/system/app/Term.apk'. Stop.
Any ideas. I repo synced twice and tried to build twice to no avail.

How to Flash the above zips :

Download the zip, and flash it in recovery
IF coming from a non-MTD ROM, you might need to flash twice
P1000L and P1000N tabs, flash your specific kernel after flashing the p1 ROM (if already on a MTD ROM)
Else, Flash your kernel(MTD), it'll reboot in recovery.
Flash the p1 zip, and then flash your kernel again.

Where can i get the kernels from ?

Quote:

If you want just the kernel - u'll get it in the same folder, boot.img
Flash it with heimdall
heimdall flash --kernel ~/cm9/out/target/product/galaxytab/boot.img --recovery ~/cm9/out/target/product/galaxytab/boot.img

Usually the kernel is zImage, Humberos Kernel also has zImage file inside
if the kernel is actually boot.img, the rom already contained a boot.img but the instruction ask to flash a kernel
- is flashing a kernel for P1000 necessary (for a migration from non MTD to MTD using latest nightlies)
- if boot.img is the kernel, i wonder why it changes its name

It's working but by default not completely configured in settings.
So go to settings and select locations services -> to use GPS + to use internal antenna

Bye,
Derk
