Default Working keyboards to replace system keyboard:

So far all I have is Swiftkey tablet.
What works:
Full functionality, voice input (after sideloading voice search 2.1.4), themes, settings, activation. Basically, everything works.

What doesnt:
Nothing right now.

Proof:

Post what keyboards you replaced LatinIME with and if it worked. If it's a free keyboard, you can post an APK but remember, you HAVE to mod permissions to
Code:
Read, Write
Read
Read
or 644 in chmod terms.
You also need to reboot after you chmod the apk so it can take effect.

Warning, I am not liable for whatever you do to your system.

Smart Keyboard Pro works but I had to download the APK and put it in /system/app and install it from there.

I have tried other keyboards and I just can't be without SKP. You can adjust key height, calibrate the keyboard and also set it to always show long-press characters so there is no need to use ALT or 123 keys about 75% of the time.

SKP also supports both keyboard and sound themes.

Swiftkey tablet does work. I had to moved it to system/app and installed it. If you don't install it, if just give you errors after restart. Once you installed it and configured it, it work.

I downloaded, moved to system/app/ then changed the permissions and installed. I then restarted then opened the app on its own which ended in force closing constantly also tried settings/input method/swiftkey and got the same constant force closing issues. Could it be the APK I have or am I missing something? Please help

I replaced the LatinIME.apk when I got the hackers keyboard... is there different ones per keyboards? If so where can I find them? If not then whatvelse could be off, I've done everything everyone's said to do and got nothing but the dreaded force closes....
