@jrkaren, thanks for the 'link'. Went to bestbuy's site and ordered one. I'll report back after a couple runs. Will be very curious to see how it works out but it definitely looks sleek. Thanks again.

I ran down to my local best buy to pick one of these up at your suggestion. The case is designed for phones with top mounted audio jacks so you actually have to put the phone in *upside down* for the holes to line up though, which defeats the purpose of the case entirely for me!

The fit is snug which is fine, but you either have to wear the phone upside down or you have to wear the arm band upside down (to make the phone right side up). If you do this though, there is VERY little material on that side to keep your phone from falling out (< 1").

End of story, while I appreciated the suggestion this case does not work for me...

How is the fit though? the audio jack is not a big deal for me since I use bluetooth transmitter connected to headphones.

I have a generic one that I used with multiple phones. Horrible fit around my arm and the phone. Will try that one rocketfish that someone suggested. I don't care about orientation. I'm not looking at my phone when running or hiking, just need a steady hold.

I just received my iArmbands arm band and I'm sad to say that I cannot recommend this arm band.

It is difficult to get the phone into the pouch. Once it's in, it is clearly stretching the limits of the pouch because the opening is strained leaving the camera lens exposed which can lead to scratching and absorbing moisture [see back.jpg]. Furthermore, if you need access to the headphone jack you will have to cut a hole in the material to do so [see no_headphones.jpg].

I'm very disappointed that iArmbands promoted this as Galaxy Nexus compatible, when it clearly isn't.

I received my Tune Belt AB84 today in the mail. The build seems to be fairly high quality, all made of neoprene and it feels thick and tough. The screen protector is sewn in instead of glued and is made of a supple plastic (i.e. it doesn't feel brittle like it will break up in a month). The headphone hole is lined up just right with respect to the width of the phone (as is a hole for the USB port), but you have to pull the material up (away from the face of the device) a little to reveal the jack which wasn't really a problem, just something to note. There is a distance between the screen and the screen protector, but it isn't really an issue besides on the notification bar which is a little tricky to get a finger on and the very edges of the screen are a bit less usable, but still possible to use.

The device is very snug inside the armband on both the width and length but there is a gap (already mentioned above) between the screen and the screen protector. The flap fits nice and tightly over the top (albeit a bit stretched) and holds it in place and the sides have to stretch slightly to the width of the device, but not so much as to make me worry that it will tear the seams.

The velcro seems as though it is high quality and I would guess it will continue to be grippy for a good while. Overall it just seems like a good armband, but I haven't had the chance to use it and won't until next week sometime. I will post again when I figure out if it has any glaring flaws. Pics posted below.

Moreover, if the phone is upside down in the armband, wouldn't it actually be rightside up when you look down at it? It was always a pet peeve of mine with my DX in that the audio jack was at the top which meant the screen was upside down when in my old armband.

I can't tell the brand but this appears to fit snug per the picture.
