[Q] WTF is with the release dates?

I have heard a LOT of people saying that their pre-orders were pushed back due to delays, but I pre-ordered with Gamestop recently. I called them today to ask if the Prime was still on track for the 19th, and they said it should be ready for pickup TOMORROW! Can anyone else who pre-ordered at GS confirm? Does anyone know why the dates are so different for different retailers.
