Question seems intially that market has been hacked/compromised

.
i have just come off the phone with my bank, natwest uk,and they have suspended all contact with market due to unauthorised activity on all/any of their accounts via the google market.

this ccard is only used for market so easily traced.

mine was a "withdrawal" of 16,000 pesos in the philipines(loooong way from the uk,)

no comment from google anywhere on the web, guess itll become news soon enough.
till they comment and fix it they are dead in the uk.

obviously this is my banks version of events but somethings going on,cant purchase anything from market at all now.

stay safe.

Back in May of this year I had the same situation with Google check out.
It was a $50 charge on my card for games from a company named Glu.
Let me add I have never had any games on my phone/flyer. (I’m just not a gamer)
Glu will not answer my E-mails and will not answer the Phone.
After numerous E-mails Google seemed to be unconcerned with their security.
I had to demand they remove my account (which they did). However, they refused to remove my credit card number from their system.
I had my bank issue another CC (at some expense to me)
Just be aware if you give Google your information you will get zero assistance should a problem arise.
I now use other companies to buy apps.

More like a case of the User being an idiot. Just like viruses on Windows. You will only get them if your an irresponsible user.
