[General Discussion] Samsung Galaxy W/Samsung Exhibit 2 4G

Since there is no forum for this phone YET I thought I would set up this topic for general discussion on this phone for now.

I just got this yesterday, I am currently loving it. Playing MKV @ 1280x720 is a really awesome improvement over my Optimus One.

Too bad it is BLOATED with crapware by Samsung and my carrier that makes it much slower than it should be though =\ But I'm guessing custom ROMs will fix that for us :P

So what are your opinions on this phone people?

You can try rooting your phone and try to install titanium backup and remove all the unnecessary apps but be cautious when removing because it might damage your cp.

Try pressing the volume buttons on the left . They are protruding the sideway and easy for you to find and operate.

Is there a way to backup stock keyboard?
I'd like to install the ICS keyboard.
I don't want to apply a full sys-backup just to go back to stock keyboard, if i don't like the ICS keyboard....

If I'm not mistaken, ICS Keyboard is available in the Android Market right? After installing it, you can switch to any input methods from your phone through Settings > Language & Keyboard.
