It's a great idea. It's a bit like windows 7 phone system where its sorted by alphabet. Although i always thought you would need a massive amount of apps before you would ever need something like that though. (and if you have a massive list why not just use the search???)

Just wanted to say thanks to the dev for a sweet launcher. I've finally moved away from CM7 to a CM9 based rom on my original evo and a friend recommended nova. Great work! Love the scrolling animation and smooth as butter compared to anything I ever had in 2.3.

To add to the previous response to your post; why don't you just use the app drawer sorting option, where you can group apps under specific tabs, and even create folders for games, productivity, etc.? It seems like that would at least be a viable work-around for you, until the specific feature you're looking for gets added...

Sorry if this has been addressed already, but what causes the persistent search bar to change icons? It seems to be random as far as I can tell. Restarting the launcher returns it to the normal "Google" icon.

i've just moved from Go Launcher to this one. And just one hour of testing lead me to buy the prime version ;)
I'm really happy with the performance and functionality.

Just two minor requests: Please enable the link to App-Drawer Folders on the homescreen.
Now i have to configure the drawer folders and similar to that the same folders on my homesreens as well. Only one of these steps would be cool.

Please create a folder type 'contacts' and let choose single contacts into a folder the same way you do it with apps.

Then, for me the Launcher is perfect.


Remarks: I did it here because the feedback-link from novalauncher does not work.

Over landscape I can't make any icon show his label if I turn portail the label apear any one know how to add the label in landscape also?

Thank you for your great launcher!

The only things I would consider changing:
1) Add some more effects for the transition between homescreens and the app drawer. Some times the fly in/out effect feels laggy. I would try adding fade in/out effect as an alternative option.
2) If it is possible, I would give users the possibility to sort their apps in the app drawer as they wish. Not only alphabeticaly.

Just a question: for the few of you asking for Drawer Sorting options... are you using Nova Prime, or the free app? Prime gives you folders in drawer, and the ability to sort apps into groups, by creating custom tabs.

Not bad, but what is about battery issue? When I trying nova (instead apex) my battery drain very fast on CM9.
