I got the newest ios rom to load - I downloaded the file again and this time didn't get the not-signed error.

I too like this latest version. Only issue I now have is the gps is totally dead. In the previous two ios versions, the gps was very slow and could take up to 30 minutes to find my location. Now it never finds my location.

Is your GPS working??

Gooapple V5 - Google contacts BUG?

im a new owner of this phone and use the ANDROID Rom 7.12.11 (because Performance of Iphone ui is really bad) had following problems:

1. GPS dont work (symbol is seen then start any GPS-app like google maps or so, but never get an loc) !?

2. Phone is not able to sync contacts between my google account. Under Android sync settings the point contacts not exists. Only Google books + Google email.

Any idea whats wrong?

These are known issues I'm afraid. GPS & Wifi issues are common an all builds; also the contacts sync problem. If you read on the top of this thread there is a rather big list that a guy from Kiev is trying to communicate with the company that builds this phone. Hopefully it will get better.

In my opinion the best and faster release so far is the latest iOS version (gooapple_ios_11.12.08.zip) of the rom.

My contact sync worked well when I downloaded Google contacts sync adapter

Just install it (attached) and then do the contact sync again and voila

Yay, I helped! Stay tuned cos I'm gonna root and play with the config files to get the WiFi signal stronger, just need to do some reading cos I've been an iPhone bod since the first one came out and I've missed out on SO much Android! Joined this site years ago and have not had the need to visit, only really been on other forums for IOS jailbreaking...
I am tempted to get an M1 to get into ICS too though

Hey, thats the Solution! Very cool! Contact-sync is working now! THX!

PS: Same issue i see while Google-Calender sync! Maybe we can install a Google calender sync adapter also to be able to sync this.

I searched for File GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk, but dont found a version which able to install under IOS-Rom.
I got an "not installed" (assume that it must be signed or something)

GooApple V5 Calendar Sync (signed)

This is confirmed to be working. I followed this procedure:
1. Rebooted phone
2. Installed the app
3. Opened Settings->account & Sync.

There you go!

My Gooapple use a standard "android E3 recovery" (english). This recovery is not able to install selfsigned apps :(

How you sign this apk-package for install? You flashed a alternate Recovery on the Gooapple Phone?
