I do that before I run my GPS every time. I have a GS remember? ;P

It still doesn't help. My GPS worked better a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if it's atmospheric in nature at this point but it did work fairly well a month or so ago.

Same good old fast fix that doesn't rely on a proprietary server or donations but a lot easier to implement now.

This works well, used the zip, and changed to us servers before i flashed. 12 satelites inside now. Also, and im just saying it could be other things too, i get faster internet with gps on and slower with it off? i dont get it but ill take it. Its consistant too, i tried 9 times and 9 times the results were the same

this worked, rly nice

it should be included in roms, like cm 7.2 ...

I just reflashed my phone and applied the zip. Worked great! At first I thought it didn't do squat when I looked at the GPS.config but then I saw you are in Canada too lol. Thanks!

Even if you werent in Canada it would work :)... Doesnt matter..

Whenever I use this, it insists I'm in Skipton (???), yet I am over 150 Km away in Somerset! Can anyone explain this???

Note: I only every seem to get a max. of 3 sats.
