i am trying some custom kernels on this ROM but the touchscreen isnt working (it doesnt recognize the touch), though the getevent is returning correct events @ /dev/input/event2... as i am pretty sure u must have patched the kernel for ICS compatibility...
i request you to kindly release these patched kernel sources so that the devs(and users) can enjoy this even more...

I am on a tour right now... will not be available for discussions for a while...
Thanks for all your great feedback, your voices are heard! FYI: Quite a few from our engineering team has been following the discussion and your requests. I think you have all understood that this is not a final release. We have more work to do, and therefor your comments encourage the team to work even harder. Today I can't comment on the kernel version. Will see if I can get a reply out in a couple of days.
Questions regarding Xperia arc (and PLAY):
I still say that you should not flash this on an Xperia arc. Arc S and arc have different partition layouts plus some other component drivers are different which could cause some problems.

Hi DooMLoRD
Yes some drivers differ between devices. Not sure which device you are testing on, but Xperia arc S and Xperia arc have some differences in the display driver.
We will release the copyleft archives, usually takes 2 weeks after a release but I will see what we can do to speed things up.
