I thought there was an error with his changes when you compiled it? or the compiled build would not boot

a few pages back he was close. it would almost boot i think, something about display library problems.

KFAZZ___Not much new. Using kadlaban's gapps and bind-mounted /data/vendor to /system/vendor still working on audio/ radio issue, narrowed it down to audio policy hal.

^^so it is an audiopolicy file...?

TwistedUmbrella on feb6th___I fixed the issue in the Droid2.mk that was messing up the build. It verifies everything before building, even if its another device's code. Also fixed where I didn't include the actual usb file that is included in the source half of the kernel. If anything it should now build something to log from. Also grabbed some source for the omap 4.0 kernel in hopes of new drivers.

^^someone had tried to build before this and hit errors, i dunno if its correct for a full build now tho

EDIT it looks like alienbiker did try and it just hangs at the M. maybe too much in system again? boot animation jamming things up?

with all the activity on the github in the past 5-10 days i thought it might possibly be close to another build.

at any rate, im gonna flash this friday after work(i need reliable phone during the week), but im going to modify gapps first and try switching some .so files to see if it changes anything.

Ok my bad then I have only been skimming comments lately nothing new has happened in a while :/ If i could successfully sync to the github i'd try building it, but I had issues copying the source to my computer

and i think i'll just swap in the milestone build libaudio.so file and ap_gain.bin into our build before i flash. gonna go with jan 5th.

btw, what is csipsimple? phone over 3G service? cause i could use that in the meantime i suppose.

ps. WOW haha i just checked df on the cm7 im running now and its telling me 11mb.

builds.twistedplayground.info has the gapp pack I threw together that installs it all on data instead of system

thank you twisted im downloading it now. is that experimental build on there your build that wouldnt boot?

also, where can i get the milestone build libaudio.so and ap_gain.bin files?
the multiupload site in their thread is down..

EDIT>>>twisted, i noticed a new file, system/lib/libgcomm_jni.so in those gapps, around 7mb, hasnt been in any of the previous gapps, noob question, whats that for?
i never go around removing system files at random, im just curious. is it for the radio?

That build didn't work. Those files may be in the source, I'd have to look in the proprietary folder. I don't know if it is part of the new talk or one of the others. They did away with libtalk_jni so I don't know what all is part of it now.
