For the love of crumbcake, I still can't believe there's no freaking car dock. I've tried pushing all my out of town appointments and trips as far away as I could but I'm travelling soon and desperately need one.

What a huge inconvenience! I love my Galaxy Nexus but this is ridiculous.

what's ridiculous is expansys playing the hope game by postponing the release by two weeks each time the date approaches.. it's blatantly clear at this point that they have no idea when, if ever, it'll be released so the fact that they're insulting the intelligence of their customers as opposed to announcing an indefinite launch date is pretty disgusting. the latter would be the appropriate pr/customer service move. disappointing...

well it's definitely cheap when it comes to functionality...

I'm going this route too...I already have BT in my car so I don't really need the audio-out from the dock. I should be able to get everything I need just by adding pins for power and sticking an NFC tag on it. It'll be a little worse visually, what with the wires showing, but I can live with that.

It's a PITA getting the phone in and out of the cheap dock, this is one area where I miss my Droid X dock.

Really? If you need one that bad just buy a generic universal car mount. Been using this one with my Droid X and GNex for the last year and a half.

I use it in portrait and set it a little tighter than the width of the phone and just slide the phone in everyday.

I'm finding this to be true, but something tells me it won't be any different for the dock with the built-in pogo pins.

I modded the crappy VZW dock this weekend with pogo pins and so far so good!

Why's it say it's not compatible with verizon i515?
If you search google with site:www[dot]expansys-usa[dot]com nexus the second link that comes up is the car dock coming in early april. I'd post a link, but i can't.
