Default Gta 3 game review + market fix

I was expecting overheating issues lag and crappy controls but no its runing smooth 0 lag and kind to the battery too. 30 mins of playing = 10% battery
The phone does get warm but nothing even close to high temps or overheating 38.4C after 30 mins O.O

This fixes market I hope.

1. Download the stock T-mobile rom from : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1308078 (Version doesn't matter)
2. Open the zip file go into the system folder and copy build.prop
3. Place the file somewhere on your sd card.(remember where)
4. Clear data from Settings > Applications > All > Market
5. Download and install ES File Explorer from the market
6. Launch ES File Explorer. Enable both Root Explorer and Mount File System under Settings > Root Settings..
7. Navigate to /system. Here you will find the build.prop file. Take a backup of it by copy-pasting it to your SD card.
8. Replace it with the one from step 3 (the one in /system)
9. Reboot & try to find the game in the market.
10. Let me know if it worked.

I've been playing it quite a lot of on my Amaze as well.

Great so far, but I have noticed some slowdown in certain areas, especially when driving into multiple cars at a high speed (probably due to the physics)

Controls are nice too. Shooting is a little difficult, but it was like that 10 years ago. Great game, worth the five dollars

Did you have to change your build.prop to download it? It is showing as not compatible with the Amaze.

It won't even show up on the market for me

Does anyone know what can I do to get it? I really want that game so if I have to change something in the build.prop like it was mention then I could do that I just dont know what part to change.

No luck.

I'm pretty sure the developer of the ROM you're using made some changes to the build.prop because I can't see any version on the market.

I'm rooted but running stock ROM

I have a friend using htc sensation and he can run the game without any problems .he is running stock rom and I'm guessing it should be released for h t c amaze pretty soon

the only other thing I can think of is this application called market enabler ive used it before but not on the amaze so I'm not sure if it works

Well, neither recommendation worked so I had to do something I don't like to do and only do in times of suffering....I had to Google the apk lol.

I agree with most of you. The game is smooth but when you're driving and there's lots of cars around and/or raining it does get a little slow but overall It's a great game.
