Same here, I went back to stock, without wipe and is working flawlessly again, but yesterday I could not use the phone at all, I was running Devil's Kernel 1.1. Now back to stock. Same thing happened with semaphore before. I hope this does not occur with stock kernel.

Mine started lagging last night, clearing cache etc made no difference. I reflashed 4.2 and cleaned again and it's very fast again. Can't wait for 4.04.

okay, thanks. was hoping that I could switch to another kernel and still get fast speeds. the stock kernel lags sometimes.

Here no lags or FC with Semaphore .8.1
Battery a lot better than devil 14.2 and also phone more stable...
Always using 3g and wifi. No problems in 7 days...

I think that, for most of u experiencing lags, go back to RC3.1, and wait for RC5 which should be around the corner if follows to past release the difference between days is about 7, now is almost 11 days so i think the next release is around the corner, wait for it patiently, give the developer sometimes to resort the issues, i believe that the developer can see what you guys are facing, and they are trying hard for our SGS, so, we should be grateful instead of complaining, just my 2 cents..=D

I don't know why glitch v14 b3 isn't much popular ics kernel but I advise you to try it. It's stable and fast.

I benchmarked semaphore 0.8.1, devil 1.1 bfs and glitch v14 b3 on rc4.2 (installed on top of stock jvu) using nenamark2, all on the same liveoc settings (110%), same schedulers and governors. semaphore was considerably slower than the rest scoring only about 25 fps while glitch and devil scored pretty much the same with a result of ~29 fps.

I ran the test several times on each kernel to obtain stable results.

Battery life is excellent, but launcher's app drawer laggs sometimes...

a week with ICSSGS RC4.2 + Semaphore 0.8.1.. really satisfied.. no lag, good battery life, fast.. feel like using a dual core phone..

but.. i would like to ask is there a way to fix the gps? mine can lock the gps but it take some time to lock and a lil bit not accurate.. maybe can get a mod gps.conf? i'm from malaysia.. thx
