Hm, I seriously can't get NFC tags to be written or read on this ROM. When I disable/enable NFC, everything seems to work right and logcat shows the output with no errors, but when I try something like NFC task launcher, it doesn't let me read or write anything. Just...nothing happens when I try to write.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to further troubleshoot this? I've tried with franco's kernel as well as the default kernel that comes with these CM9 builds.
Edit: seems to be a ROM thing. CM9 doesn't work, Apex doesn't work, but AOKP milestone 2 does.

I think nfc in cm9 is just buggy. Last build it detected everything fine, now on the latest build I get nothing.
Might have wait till cm9 actually gets some substance before someone will investigate.

I get constant and unprovoked NFC errors in logcat with the last couple of builds I've been running. Not really important to me, as I don't use NFC, but it messes up Market for some reason. Can't view app details - if I try, Market FCs. Anyone got an idea how to remove NFC via ADB or in the source?
If you notice in older builds, when unlocking the screen there's a slight delay.
Not true that this is what quick unlock means. Quick unlock means that you do not have to press OK after punching in your pin/pw... (You need to enable it in security->lock screen) See a few posts back.

Sigh, I give up on this for now. Changing radios doesn't work, different gapps doesn't work, no gapps doesn't work, CM9 kang doesn't work for me (varies with the user), Apex 1.0 doesn't work for me (varies), but AOKP milestone 2 works. Hope it gets worked out for release!

I remembered i had an old nanodroid back-up from last week (25th of jan).
I restored my phone and NFC tagging works again. Flash all nightlies since then till now, and it appears that from the 30th NFC tagging ceased to work. If you look in the cm review, you'll see someones commits related to NFC were accepted on the 29th.

So I have a question regarding these changelogs - as I've always understood it, a changelog is meant to highlight only those items that are new specifically to that build or version, however the majority of the items listed, for example, in this changelog are repeated from many previous versions. Is there something I'm just not getting here? Because to me I would think the changelog should only list the completely new or unique changes in this version without mentioning the previous ones.
