i have some questions
with using a cdma verizon galaxy nexus, is the apk working for notification of text, caller id, google apps like gtalk and similar?

im hearing conflicting reports and would like to know for sure.

Text notifications work when synced to the phone app... caller I'd only works on most when you plug a wired headset to the motoactv. The motoactv apk does not work with gtalk and similar as far as I know. In order for the apk to work on your gnex need to find a hacked apk

MotoACTV Root Tool Version 1.1.0

Update:
-Automatically installs clockworkmod recovery during root process

Good job, the update is looking great. I will be releasing a newer version of my batch script later tonight. Unless we have any major developments, it will probably be my last update since ClearD is making great progress, and I don't have as much time as before since classes started.

The latest version will ditch SuperOneClick and manually root the device and install busybox, install the custom recovery, adds reboot into recovery under tools menu, and fixes a few typos.

I have linux but have not installed the motoactv software on my linux machine .... I did try to do lsusb and when the phone is on and booted into android i do get a usb readout but when in the recovery i get nothing

So for us who have already rooted it we just reroot it? Or unroot it then reroot it? Thanks in advance!

If you look on he motoactv bounty page their are instructions on how to do it through adb or you can also wail till jay post the updated easymodder script

If you're rooted, you can either run jay's flash-recovery script, or just re-root, which won't hurt a thing either. No need to unroot, but if you do, be sure to make a backup first.
