Thanks for the info. I am enjoying Leedroid flyer rom now. A noob question is it worth the effort? Can we come back to the Leedroid? Which one in the globatron thread the PGIMG or RUU image to be downloaded? Thanks a ton!

We don't know when it will come to India. As for for further upgrades to flyer, I firmly believe we will not see ice cream sandwich from HTC for flyer. So I took the plunge. Though I was not too much in mood of going this way, but I wanted to have honeycomb on my flyer, and just could not resist.

I have switched off auto update reminder on my tablet for the time being.

To clarify your issue, you stated that: You want upgrade for Android Honeycomb for HTC Flyer.

In this regard we would like to inform you that our goal is to give every customer the best possible experience on every phone. Every HTC phone is a combination of a unique HTC hardware and software experience and a core operating system. We only update our phones if it will provide an overall improved user experience as we balance features, performance and usability. Once ROM upgrade will be available you can find it from following link: www[dot]htc[dot]com/in/help/, currently upgrade for Android Honeycomb is not available for HTC Flyer. Currently launching of Android Honeycomb details for HTC Flyer has not been released in India.

We request you to please check time to time for the availability of any software updates for your phone. Your phone can check and then notify you if there’s a new update. You can then download and install the software update using your phone’s data connection like 3G/GPRS. You can also manually check if there's an available software update for your phone.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu, and then tap Settings.

2. Tap About phone > Software updates > Check now.
