[Q] Touchscreen bottom half not calibrated

I recently started having an issue where the bottom half of my touchscreen is calibrated incorrectly. The top half of the screen functions normally, but at about the middle of the screen (moving down) the calibration is off and you have to press about 10mm below where you intend to. The result is that the soft buttons are unavailable, which basically renders the phone unusable.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue and success resolving it?

Running CM7.1 and RomRacer recovery.

Sounds like you messed up the pds partition you need to do search for pds partition fix and be sure to get the right one for whatever android version you are running.

There is no any problem in calibration. It is bug of many atrix phones after a few month of using. Ghost finger and dead zones. Nobody knows if it is hardware or software problem. At&t replaces phones with that problem, orange issued a patch. Some people advice to change digitizer (50$) but I haven't seen any information about good examples.
