Sounds like you boot image has corrupted or a wrong image was flashed maybe but without knowing what you did its hard to say.

Good news is your phone is nowhere near bricked it just needs a working boot image flashed to it so if you can give me as much information as you can it can be easily fixed.

Can you get into fastboot mode?

If so one quick thing you can try is to download the attached boot image, unzip it and copy the boot.img file to the 'put_img_files_to_flash_here' folder in the ToolKit. Put your phone in fastboot mode and start the ToolKit, make sure the serial is under fastboot mode at the top and select option 12 to Flash .img files. Make sure you see boot.img in the list and type the filename. Select flash and then flash to the boot partition. If it passes then press the power button on your phone to boot your phone and hopefully it will boot up fine.

If that doesnt work you can always use option 8 to download a stock image and flash it via fastboot.

Let me know how you get on.

Mark.

EDIT: Ok nevermind I see you fixed it lol

Sorry did not mean to step on your toes! Was just trying to help. I did install your toolbox but have not played with it yet. It looks great thanks for all your hard work I am sure I will need it at some point

This tool completely saved my ass. Phone went into a brick due to a short from charging that corrupted my phone storage. Couldn't restore any Nandroid backups or anything due to it. Was worried the phone was hosed but I'm up and running again on JellyBean. This is the only tool for the Nexus that could do the trick and I am grateful.

having a lot of trouble with drivers-it looks like they're installed because it says galaxy nexus connected but no serial number and adb devices doesn't work
EDIT: I get the serial number now but it still hangs when trying to unlock it, and I am indeed in fastboot

Did you run the command to get fastboot talking with drivers? For me to get the serial number to show up I had to run the following command:
-adb fastboot devices
- Then I would refresh the toolkit ( option 24 i think) and then the serial number would show up under fastboot. Everything worked great from there.

No, It shows up in the toolkit but it still hangs when trying to unlock the bootloader, and the phone is in fact in fastboot

Adb commands wont work in fastboot mode you need to use fastboot.

Does the serial show in adb mode with the toolkit running and connected?

Ok heres the best thing to try if you are having problems with fastboot mode:
Open the Device Manager on your pc and then boot your phone into fastboot mode (dont plug the usb cable in yet). Plug the cable in while watching the Device Manager and determine which item is added to the list with the device plugged in. If the driver isnt installed then it should say 'Android 1.0' in the list. Once you have found it right click on the item and select update driver. Select 'browse my computer' from the list and then browse to the 'drivers' folder in the ToolKit (wherever you installed the ToolKit to). Make sure sub folders is ticked and click next. Hopefully the driver will be picked up and installed.

Just try something simple like a reboot to android from the reboot options and then back to fastboot from android via the reboot options to check adb drivers.

If all that works you are good to go.
