Great work on this. If I wanted to flash the JB bootloader on the VZW GN running 4.1.1 - I should choose something like option #10? And then the bootloader partition [seems obvious but better safe than sorry]?

thanks.

You can download the factory image here...

google vzw toro galaxy nexus 404 factory image

scroll down to the very bottom of the page and you will see the link there.

After you download it you will have to go on your desktop to C:/Galaxy Nexus Toolkit and there is a folder there...

put_google_factory_images_here

...and you will have to "put the google factory image in there". haha.

Also - you may have to unzip the image before you put it in there. Not sure about that part of the process.

Actually you can download, extract and flash the google image all through the ToolKit without having to move any files around

Yes you either need to install the drivers or if you have already installed them then check the FAQ on how to get them working. Also make sure you are in fastboot mode on your phone.

The easiest root method I've ever used....thank you so much!!!! No problems at all once I figured out what bit my windows system was. Quick question though, (and yes...I did read...all the op, just not the 87 pages of comments, lol) I just came from a samsung galaxy s2 where the procedure was factory reset then wipe cache and delvik cache. I didn't see anywhere in you directions about wiping, is that not required?

edit: downloading superwipe now, haven't read much into it as I'm at work but It sounds like what I'm looking for based on the little I could read.
