Maybe a dumb question, but why cant I change the bootanimation?,
I did try it in /data/local, and in /system/media , but when I boot the screen stays black.
Had this problem on my SGS2 sometimes too, but never on my htc devices.

You are probably using a bootanimation meant for 4.0.2

just installed the rom, its great...my only question is about the settings button on the pulldown....is there any way to make that like the stock ics where it goes to all the settings options rather than just slide across the brightness, auto rotate, and wifi?
