Well in this case you have to troubleshoot, do a fresh install wipe cache, dalvik cache, data, system, flash b31 and boot, i believe b31 comes with faux kernel see if it still messed up.

I just got my Verizon Galaxy Nexus... I upgraded from my verizon Droid Charge (running the Humble 5.0 gingerbread 2.6.3 rom).

I now want to put the best custom rom on my new Nexus... what is the most popular/powerful/best supported ROM for the verizon lte Galaxy Nexus currently?

I'm always between CM9 and AOKP. I think CM is faster, but lacks many features I love in AOKP. For kernel, I use Franco's Milestone 2

512 oc gpu! Very stable great battery all day today.
Like I said its A GO!

I switched to the franco kernel a couple of days ago, and my battery is still only so-so. I get maybe 8-10 hours with light use.
