Anyone know how to get rid of these txt?

OZMAIL CI=2cf8************c6**********f MC=1 Reply to this message to stop these alerts.

I've had it ever since I flashed gv 1.3

Then I googled it and people say just reply to it and it'll stop
Before I replied to it I get 1-3 every 2 wks

I replied to it 2 days ago and I've been getting 1 every 6-9 hrs
since last nite and today I've been getting it every hr

Very "F"ing annoying

DONATE TO ME
Never heard of it but I can imagine that is very annoying. Though funny on my end since I don't have it

That was an old error on vzw when people would switch from basic phones with email to smartphones. The fix in those days was to reactivate the old phone and unsubscribe from the basic phone email, and then reactivate the Smartphone.

I thought I replied to this (long since forgot. Could have been at AC). Did you use the stock email app and then get rid of the account on the phone?

I just went through this 2 days ago! Here is what I found. Hope it helps you.
I put K9 mail on my wife’s phone. She had her account set-up with the stock crap email client. Later that night she started to get OZmail texts. 2 hours later I got it sorted out!
After I installed K9, I uninstalled the stock crap email client. This is where I think I created the problem! There is a box in the settings that says something like (notify me) that you check. This is where the texts from OZmail come from as best as I can tell. I guess there is a text message that goes to the stock email client. When it is not intercepted it goes through as a text message.
The FIX! I had to reinstall the stock email client. Next: set it all back up to working status. Un-check the box (notify me)!!! Poof! Done!!! Been 2 days without problem.
I am NO expert! Just what worked for me. Good luck!

Thanx I'll try this next time it came back

I look back at all those messages and notice most of them end with MC=1 but I received other ends with MC=2 / MC=3 /MC=5 / MC=27

The 1st time I replied to end with MC=1

Here's the weird thing
4-6 hrs ago I receive another 1 end with MC=2 so I just replied to it and poof I haven't received any for the last 4-6 hrs and I've been getting it every hr for last 2 days
Hopefully it's gone for good
I'll update to confirm if it's gone
