As all of us see, our phones still pretty capable of dealing with ICS requirements. This inevitably makes me think that it's all about marketing strategies... to make people buy new HTC phones.

As I mentioned earlier, this project truly deserves donation... thanks to dk_zero-cool.
If you had any doubt on whether it was a marketing decision, then the HTC One V is all the proof you need. A single core 1GHz Snapdragon S4, Adreno 205, 512MB RAM (costing around £250) powered device gets Sense 4.0 but the dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion (Snapdragon S3), Adreno 220, 768MB RAM powered HTC Sensation XE (costing around £385) only gets Sense 3.6.

Not that I am a fan of Sense but it just shows how these companies try to push new products. They have every right to do so but if I was a Sensetion XE owner I would be livid. It's less than six months old. I'm not bashing HTC for their strategy but as a consumer I'd like to think a should company cares more about your loyalty rather than just your money.

Sorry for going off topic :/. Feel free to ask me to delete it hehe.

Agreed. Tired of this myself. My next phone will be an iPhone. I don't care about openness or fancy widgets anymore, and prefer an up to date OS in a phone that doesn't lose 50% of its value the same day you buy it.

Regarding performance:

- CPU Governor: SmartassV2 is set as default CPU Governor. I noticed at scales back CPU frequency rather quickly. This gives me some lag when I first activate my phone. I like the battery life more than I mind the delays so I kept it that way, but if you want faster performance, you could choose a different CPU governor or a higher minimum frequency (default is 245 MHz minimum).

- Partitioning: Using a swap partition will degrade performance and should only be used if you run out of memory otherwise. Having both Swap and Dalvik on the SD card will seriously degrade performance. The phone's internal memory is usually faster than SD cards, so optimum setting (for performance at least) would be to not use swap and have the dalvik cache on internal memory.

- zRAM is enabled at 18% by default. Disabling it will increase performance (at the cost of memory usage).

- From the phone's Performance menu, you could choose to disable Surface Dithering and enable 16bit Transparency for better graphics performance, but I find this leads to ugly artifacts, particularly in semi-transparent widget backgrounds.

I installed this ROM today for the first time. I flashed the Data++ HBoot and the sdcard is formated with fat32 und 1gb ext4. Dalvik is enabled.
After installation I restored via TB my market apps and rebooted the phone. Now it is hanging in the boot animation.
Any idea to help me out?

Hard reboot your phone... remove the battery or push power + Vol-Down + Trackball. Reed the first post

Don't restore from Titanium... especially if you are coming from Gingerbread.
Even if you really have to restore; restore only the data of the apps which are crucial for you.

Found a reproducable bug:

The phone everytime reboots when I open Google Navigation and try to change the travelling option at the top right corner of the navigation home screen. (By car or by foot)

If you need logcat, just tell me. (But I have never used it before)
