I really like the idea of stripping Sense out of this completely and using standard AOSP ICS components instead. I suspect a lot of the instability and rough edges are more a function of the Sense port being incomplete than the underlying framework/drivers.

the only things i like about sense are:

the contacts
the camera
the sms messenger
the calendar widget
and the dialer

the rest, i don't use

i've seen people take sense 3.5 and remove a vast majority of the htc sense items, probably the same thing will happen to this

OK, flashed the new RADIO and everything is working well. In the insertcoin thread it says not to flash the new RADIO. Does anybody know why?

So far the only bug I got was in Messages when I started to type a name the suggestions appear and if I pick a name or number it fc

stripped like 85% of the htc apps and am using nova launcher (based on ics)... btw does anyone know if there is way to use the stock ics lockscreen... i know in some sense roms you can delete the htc sense lockscreen and the aosp one will pop out......

Ummm..this is a .rar file....doesn't it have to be a .zip to flash in CWM????

also try going into applications finding superuser and clicking 'clear data'

you can get into clockwork by turning off (untick fastboot in power) the phone and holding VOL- + Power

i needed to do this and update the su binary, won't hurt to run fix permissions once you get into clockwork either.
