Default CheckRom RevoHD v4 wid DK 2.4.3 Major battery issues

Hi fellows,

Please help!!! last night i have experienced worst battery performance (see attached). Over night battery drain form ~80% to 27% with nothing except WIFI on..crazy ****.
New apps or diffrence i made on S2 were:-
Installed Set CPU - XDA version
Installed CPU SPY - from market
Changed Modem from XXKI4 to XXKL1
Changed Modem Kernel from DK 2.5.2p to 2.4.3 (i personally feel 2.4.3 have better battery performance)
now i have removed Set CPU coz heaps of battery used by Android OS and Android System.
Please advise what i have done wrong here...
thanks

Could be an issue caused by the flashing of a new modem and/or kernel.
Have you run a kernel clearing script or done something special to "calibrate" your battery?

I prefer to shut down the phone, fully charge to 100%, then unplug the phone and pull out the battery for about 5 minutes.
Then put the battery back into the phone and boot the phone.
It is easier for the battery stats chip to auto-calibrate by using a "stress-free" battery.

Just to get all unneeded wakelocks, please post screenshots of the Partial Wakelocks and the Kernel Wakelocks of BBS.
Phone: SGS2 (GT-I9100)
ROM: XWLSS NeatROM Lite v4.7 (PDA: XWLSS / PHONE: XXMS2 / CSC: OXFLS3)
Kernel: PhilZ-touch v5.03.0

thanks It_ler,
yes is did run kernel clearing script but haven't done something special to "calibrate" battery.
I have just fully changed my phone after removing Set CPU and cleared battery cache from recovery mode, so nothing much for now in Partial Wakelocks and the Kernel Wakelocks of BBS.
For now phone is on battery from last 35 mins with WIFI ON and only lost 1% of battery. Mind you from that 35 mins its been in deep sleep for 30 mins (as per CPU Spy). Monitoring on going, will keep posting...

BTW do you think Set CPU with only one profile configured i.e. Scree 0ff (100-500, priority 80) can chew ~53% battery over night with only WIFI on?

Maybe the KL1 gives you a weaker signal.
Under settings > about > status you can see the signal strength.
Mine is always around 92 dBm with 9 asu.
Don't know exactly what it means, but it's interesting to see the difference between modems.

yeah might be Kees, right now am back to my original config i.e. CRR4 wid DK 2.4.3 kernel.
So far its been ~17% usage for 5 hours 10 mins wid 30 mins of GPS On (for runkeeper), 35 mins of display on, all time WIFI on and few calls, emails and messages.
I still dont feel its normal something is wrong, will monitor overnight otherwise flash my last good config (sad its 10 days old tho) or will try siyah 2.6_S99 kernel..any thoughts???

A mobile phone signal (or reception) is the strength (measured in dBm) of the connection to the mobile phone with its network. Depending on various factors, such as proximity to a tower, obstructions such as buildings or trees, etc, the signal may vary. Most mobile devices use a set of bars of varying heights to display the strength of the signal where the device is located.

Equation : dBm = 2*ASU - 113
Less dBm means better signal.Ideal will be close to -60 and you will have full signal strength and close to -113 is extremely bad signal. ASU is a more linear way of representing the signal strength :)

Sounds not bad, but good be better i think.
But for me, DK 2.5.2 is way better then 2.4.3, about the same battery life as with speedmod k-2 18 test 17, but with some what smoother / faster feeling.
And i must say that for battery life, i found speedmod kernels better then siyah.
Did you have any frozen apps?
I did some freezing like maps and streetview, iám using Sygic.
I did froze Talk, but somehow this caused some drain, thinking that Android it self was constantly looking for Talk, something like that.
So, if you have some apps frozen, take a good look to them.
Any apps updated?
By the way, iám using the setting, wifi off when display is off.
Fast Dormancy is also disabled, my provider doesn't have FD.

Would be interesting to see what i will get. :0
