Wanted: Persistent settings app

How hard would it be for a dev to create a simple app for us rooted users that runs on boot and sets USB debugging etc, at boot? This nook I bought is for my wife and I don't think she will like going to the debug menu every time (have the excellent hidden settings app) to enable it for things like button savior. Is this something possible for us rooted users?

I could be wrong, but Button Savior doesn't need USB Debugging...

Few apps actually do need it. Titanium Backup being a notable exception, but aside from that I can't think of any that need it to run from a tablet/phone. ADB needs it, but that's run from your computer.
