The move to FP1H seems to be complete, although for those not wanting to go to FP1H for whatever reason - here's an updated EP4D option (CWM only):

Tweaked 1.5 EP4D

This is very much the same description-wise as what is seen in the FP1H rom - except no fp1h-based circle call answer/lockscreen, and an edit to the build.prop to stop the ota notification. Hope folks find this useful

EDIT: Seems the edited build.prop slipped through the cracks. It's all better now.

So, if I want to stick with EP4D then flash FP1 radio only, do I download 1.5?

Yes, 1.5 is EP4D. You wont need to reflash FP1 radio if you are already using it.

I've been flashing ROMs on phones since the Razr days, but have been on Sprint since those days and my last three have been HTC and Samsung phones.

I'm familiar with Odin and CWM and have no problems with that, but need advice on what to flash. He doesn't care what he has as long as he can tether his iPad to his phone. I'm guessing that would require a rooted kernel and there appears to still be issues with rooted kernels on FP1H.

Should he flash the new 1.5 EP4D and add a rooted kernel like PBJ?

Awesome, wish I could CWM it right now, but guess I'll have to wait till I get home to ODIN it...unless I overlooked a CWM version of 1.5

You don't need a custom kernel to tether. Just being rooted works. But yes that combo would work.
