Hey Guys,

no hint how to get rid off the netlock PIN request? As stated before, everything works, it is just the dialogue which is somehow misplaced... :-/
There's no way to "disable" the "Network Unlock PIN" request screen. It usually only happens when your phone is slow to log into the mobile network because you use a PIN code.

Solution to rid the "Network unlock" is to DISABLE the use of a PIN code.

Thanks! Unfortunately the PIN code is a security feature, so I won't disable that. At least this is an explanation why it is not requested always.

Hey guys!

I'm quite new in the whole android thing, got my X8 few months ago and started with GDX v.25. I'm annoyed by all the people talking about battery drain in the new version (v26): I myself use stock kernel and did everything in the description (stop all unused apps, reboot after GPS) and I easily get over 3days of normal use.

So yes, battery drain is a problem, if you are unable to read and do as you are told to fix the problem.

Just a quick Q. Someone told me not to update busybox on gdx 26. May i know why? I mean, what seems to cause soft bricks on phones that try to update busybox on gdx? I just want to see if i can find a fix that can help. Thanks!

Btw great rom. Great work!

I have battery problems. But as i've learned it's because of me (the user) and not the rom. So i hafta agree with you in that.

Hi!
I've this problem with overclock:

I've installed:
X8_08a-GDX_Alfs&Djnilse (capped)
GingerDX v026
GingerDX Alfs Kernel AddOn v005
GDXUpdateNotify
ICSified Settings

and make full wipe.

Overclock at 691mhz. With v025 (and previous) I never had problems.

Wait a minute. You flashed all the addons and full wiped?? You did it wrong way. Full wipe first then install the addons.

I am not sure myself but Busybox cannot be updated in Stock kernel. You have to install custom kernel. And, theres no fix for that...

Hit The THANKS Button If I Helped!!
